A new version of this module is now available on my site xoops.foreach.fr for testing. To download this latest version click here

This version contain a new hack to correct an error with the system module and a new cp_functions.php structure (Thanks to D.J.).
All the hack are in extras directory.

ThAdmin
Version 1.1

ThAdmin is a small module to manage the Xoops Admin area. You must install ("include\cp_functions.php") by transfering it by ftp after module installation.

After the installation, you can see a new administration area:

If you want to create your own administration interface, you have just to copy/paste and rename the default theme, located in the themes directory inside the module.
Then, change everything that you need and update the module by selecting the new theme in module setting area.

Just to clarify:
In the module's /extras directory there are two files that are needed to overwrite existing files from a normal XOOPS install. Users will need to copy these files to the correct place in their XOOPS install manually:

1. /extras/htdocs/include/cp_functions.php overwrites xoops_root/include/cp_functions.php

2. /extras/htdocs/modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php overwrites xoops_root/modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php

The module does not need the /extras folder and it may be deleted from your server if it has been uploaded with the rest of the module.

You can easily create your own theme and add all the modification like center the menu.
For the moment the default theme do not change. It is just a template for create some other theme

nice work!

some of language is right to left ( Persian and Arabic for example ) are you add one css file for this languages or add language folder in the default theme and add one css file for each language which we add localization css files and java files

Thanks for the update! I love the new colours! I updated my Dutch translation. Can you include it in the following release?

The problems with 'blank pages' and Xoopsinfo are still there though. I can't access News or TinyEditor when Xoopsinfo is activated. Have you come closer to a solution on this?

The items under the modules tab are sorted by weight. I find the preferences tab - which is sorted alphabetically a lot easier to navigate though. I looked around to find a way to change the sort order and I found some interesting code in your cp_functions.php file.

Line 66-71:

 $criteria = new CriteriaCompo(); 
    ... 
    $criteria->setSort('name'); 
    $modules = $module_handler->getObjects($criteria, true);

and line 131:

array_multisort($modnames, SORT_ASC, SORT_STRING, $menulinks, SORT_ASC, SORT_STRING);

I think these are used to sort the modules in the preferences tab. How would I go about sorting the modules tab alphabetically too? The weight sort is confusing me

PS: This is my temporary measure.
In /kernel/module.php at line 498:

$sql .= ' ORDER BY name '.$criteria->getOrder().', mid ASC';

Not very wise to edit the kernel but it doesn't seem to do any damage (it just sorts modules alphabetically now in search.php too, but so what

)
