Bugfix version with no new feature.

Update/Install guide:
1 upload the /Frameworks/ (make sure to remove /Frameworks/xoops22/ if you are using XOOPS 2.2*) and /modules/newbb/
2 upload /class/xoopseditor/ (need to download separately from http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/forum/forum.php?forum_id=1504)

Note:
the module requires /Frameworks/, plz always use the latest verion of Frameworks:

I've noticed few points :
- seems the /class/transfer directory of /modules/newbb is redondant with /Frameworks/transfer directory, no ? I've not tested deleting the first one.
- in readme file, support link has to be d.x.o website, instead of xoopsforge

marco, the 3.06 is just a bugfix version by which I wouldn't touch any more code. So the fpdf/transfer are still there for backward compatibility, the readme is still there as well : )

How do I change the default editor? Now FCK is default, but I want DHTML to be default.

seems it auto selected tiny editor for my self also and wouldn't allow koivi or XOOPS default even.

@wizanda & levak:
to change default editor to what you want for example dhtmleditor:
- change the name of newbb/include/plugin.dist.php to plugin.php

- open plugin.php and change to this:

 // Set the default editor 
$customConfig["editor_default"] = "dhtmltextarea";

- Update newbb

Edit: it seems there is 2 same files in the package:
1- plugin.php
2- plugin.dist.php
i dont know why? maybe a mistake

A quick workaround for the bug (bug report 1 or bug report 2) on update or clean install. Open newbb/include/plugin.php and find:

$customConfig["syncOnUpdate"] = true;

Then set it to false.

This however will not solve the problem with syncing.

where can i find docs about editing the templates for this module?
i cant find anything,i want to change the online/offline image to text only,how can i do that?

about template i think xhtml validation is very important for all XOOPS templates also cbb.

Agreed - Phppp was asking for assistance with areas such as this... and also, it would be nice to update any templates to support the new features in 2.0.14 upwards - if they don't already

My users find the choice of editors very confusing and I, as Webmaster, don't really want users to be highlighting and many of the other things that can be done with the new editors.

I assume that I can shut off these choices by taking:

$customConfig["editor_allowed"] = array();

and changing "array() to the editor I want. Correct?

Hi Phppp...I am having trouble with this version 2.32.

All the pages inside the CBB module other than the preference page and the blocks page are coming as blank pages. The blocks page gives me the same set of configuration as the normal blocks page of xoops.

Is there anything that I can do to make it work. What am I doing wrong. The installation also was a blank page...but it did show up later in the admin section.

I actually wanted to ask: what files to download from http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/forum/forum.php?forum_id=1504
I suspect that the file one needs for XOOPS 2.0.15 is "xoops-editor-moon.zip", but I am not sure.
Why CBB has become so difficult to install? one has to download three archive files, from three different locations...
How difficult would be to repackage them in only one archive file, so it would be crystal clear what goes where? I read somewhere in the forums that some files should be uploaded into /Frameworks/class others in /class
I quite afraid to attempt the update... and perhaps I am not the only one.

It is because I have to take care of more than too versions of XOOPS users!

You think it easy to make all-in-one package? I would agree with you if we have only ONE XOOPS user.

It is unfortunate you are (or seem so) the only developer of CBB. I appreciate your work, even though I think it is quite an adventure to update CBB.
Is ""xoops-editor-moon.zip" the file to download for XOOPS 2.0.15 ? "xoops22_editor_fckeditor.zip" sounds like it is for 2.2+...

There is no file that can be immediatelly downloaded on that page. One has (presumably) to click on "Files" and then there are two files that can be downloaded: one of them is "xoops22_editor_fckeditor.zip"

Great job.

I finally got it working on the other forum I was working on running. {It was that pesky $ error I posted about}.

Not sure what did the trick finally.

The last two changes were to delete the entire CBB forum and reload using the version I had gotten working on the other forum

and to double check that I had uploaded the corrected version of the class/xoopsform/form.php file.

Anyway, it works now

Hi irmtfan ...
Apparently I'm using XOOPS 2.0.15 and still confused on how to install CBB 3.0.6 onto my hosting server. What files/folders goes to where? I'm totally lost !!!
Please advice me soon ...

This is not the place to ask for help with the installation of a module - Please make sure you are familiar with your XOOPS file structure and consult the documentation (xoops admin manual), FAQ, etc for basic help. Please go to the support forums if you still cannot work it out. Irmtfan's steps are very clear for this section. If you do post for support, please use beginners corner and indicate what exactly it is that you do not understand.

Thanks for helping me out. The answer was in my face, but yet I read the simple instructions with complexity & doubt. Luckily CBB 3.0.7 on my portal works now. However, I'm in the midst of transforming it's default outlook to my own personal taste

Sorry to ask you this 'silly' question. Would you know what version of CBB is Xoops.org currently using? Apparently I've recently installed the latest version 3.07 and it doesn't have the look-&-feel of the version which Xoops.org has.

I would prefer the "Transfer" option on the left-side of the EDIT, REPLY buttons to be just - Create PDF from Post / Print options. Although the "Transfer" option made available in CBB 3.07 maybe useful, but to me it isn't. Just concern that my viewers will be confused
