whttp://www.xoops.it announces releasing of modBB, enhanced version of XoopsBB that permit moderation-in-advance of users posts.
modBB is an alpha version: included functionalities are enough to let XOOPS Community taste all potentialities. Next versions will include further features.

DOWNLOAD modBB version 0.1 alpha

if you want to see in action use our RC3 Test Site, loggin in as testuser/testuser and testmoderator/testmoderator to look at his usability.

me too, XoopsBB has this features, too

about integrating this hack, it's important to know this module DO IS an hack for XoopsBB, just renamed to let users test it together with official one (it use same tables so you can switch from a module to another at any time). That's an alpha and is still far to be perfect, but I hope sharing early hack sources will bring users give me more suggestions and features requests on it, or, if devs likes, integrating his features in XoopsBB official module.

ok maxit, but my website works on RC2, and I dont think I will move my portal on RC3 before a long time...

So, can you "give me" the hack (sticky topic) ?

I didn't hack XoopsBB to get sticky topics because (as said) it is native features of XoopsBB, so I can't provide them, sorry

hack details for the moderating mod could be easily taken from the package: just look for '// Max forummod' string

Feature Request:
A moderator of a Forum will get an email, if there is a new post in his forum.

Mmmm... I don't think I will work on this: it is some complex to implement correctly, and further I want to work only on moderation strictly-related features.
