Re: WDC_006_lemonPerhaps you're right, but IMHO there is no way in the open-source world to prevent people from using your work to their own end (that is what this is all about, afterall). You can't force people to show a link to your site on every page of your site, but you can force them to keep a notice in the theme.html code.
Just add a comment in the code that isn't rendered in the theme, but refers to you creating this theme, underwater. That's how all XOOPS codes are released.

Re: WDC_006_lemonI totally agree with Herko that anyone can do with a theme as long as it is open source , but I find it very encouraging to say at least to put at the very bottom a line of code telling people that this theme was designed by so and so and I can find no harm to put a link to its designer. I think that it is about time to lift up the many theme designers who are making XOOPS one of the best open source out there because really coding alone doesn't make this software that attractive.
Re: WDC_006_lemonIn my experience i realize that XOOPS Community is a group of people who never bothered about copy rights, but QALITY....
You will never find something like this on the WEB.
WDC done a good job by publishing a theme( and it looks great).. The Great XOOPS Core doesn't asks you to show a visible link to the XOOPS site(also 100's of modules). Then how can you ask for a link for just a theme. Ok however it is your right.
If WDC Not somebody else.....
Xoops will go on......
