What is new? Improved? Fixed?

What are the standard features? What formats are supported? What might be expected in the next version?

And most importantly, what version of XOOPS will this work with?

PLEASE give a FULL description of your module when you post it for download. It makes it easier for new users and veterans alike to see whether your module fulfills their needs.

So this works with 2.0.13?

Also is the bug(?) fixed where someone uploading a file does not have to enter a filename. when they leave it blank it causes a issue when you want to edit it as a admin.

Id like to see it where you are forced to enter a filename if this has not already been addressed.

Congratulations on this release. I always liked xcgallery, but would never use it because it was abandonware. I would certainly give it another try if this version is up to speed with Coppermine's security issues, e.g. EXIF XSS vulnerability?

Thanks so much for resurrecting xcgal! I've been using it for about 2 years now and am so pleased it's been refreshed. I really like the new graphics for navigation and voting. I still think it has better functionality than the g2 port to xoops.

I use XOOPS 2.2.3a Final with this module (xcGallery 2.0.1).
On XOOPS Preference, Mail delivery method, using SMTP!

I got some problem when test this module:
1. I uploaded some pictures using the "Upload more" with xcgal. But when they uploaded, they appear as white page!
2. When I want to send e-card, I am geting the following error messages: "Sorry but the server can't send your e-card..."
And the Notice [PHP]:
Undefined variable: xcgal_module_header in file ...\modules\xcgal\ecard.php line 147

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.

It maybe fixed in this version, but there was a minor code error in the old xcgallery module that affected ecards. See my comments here on the old module page.

Problem I'm having with this module: every upload I want to make, it comes up with 'you need at least one album to be able to upload'... Now, I've created albums, all the rights are setup correctly, still this issue stays...

Anyone else having this, or has a solution to it?

You can get this message, only if there are no albums, or if it can not retrieve any album.

Are there any php errors?

To espinosasp:

There are an extension GD2 in PHP, that mast be enabled (see in PHP docs), unless you are using image magic instead of GD2 for image conversions (see General xcGal setting)

To Peekay: It's not fixed for xcGallery 2.0.1!

BIG PROBLEMS on this module:

2. When I want to send e-card, I am geting the following error messages: "Sorry but the server can't send your e-card..."
3. Display captions on Scrolling Thumbnails Block can not display.

OK, thank for this code error

hiya :)

Great module :)

It seems the IE full size pic is still porked. Can anyone else confirm this?( nevermind, I forgot to regenerate xcgal_fullsize.html :)). It works fine after regenerating that file. Ty for this fix :)

Also, anyone have a recent version of this module that they have cloned?

Keep up the good work :)

Thanks

Hey Again :)

Can someone verify this.... using the 'upload more pictures' link. I added 4 pictures. I have it setup where the admin must approve the pictures. When admin goes to approve the pics there is only one pic to approve. It seems to ignore all but the first pic in the list of pics you upload.

I have regenerated all templates including xcgal_uploadmore.html

using XOOPS 2.2.3 final and php 4.4.0

Thanks

I am also having upload problems. I had ImageMagik installed today on my server. Now, when I go to upload pictures, I get this error message:

"The picture 'xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx.jpg' can't be inserted into the album

Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127"

Any ideas?

Check your submit right. If you have the right to upload a file the link will be displayed.

Do you have an edited templateset, espacially the xcgal_header.html?

Please check that you can upload files. CHMOD of directory albums and userpics must be 777.

The thumbs are saved in your upload directory as "thumb_xyz.xyz" e.g. in "/modules/xcgal/albums/userpics/10001/thumb_picture1.jpg"

I cannot seem to find a block for "scrolling thumbnails" while I do find 2 blocks for "static thumbnails." Am I missing something or has this been changed by this release OR by XOOPS 2.2.3?
