A small month since the first release of this module.
what's new in this release ?
It's no more necessary to hack the header.php
Other changes to improve the path.
You can now define an image for a relative url. You can define an image for a module but also for a special url.

ex :http://www.mysite.org/module/news/*
ex :http://www.mysite.org/module/news/index.php&op=post

you can do exactly what you want.

The doc is available in the admin area of the module.

Download link has been spelled wrongly. It should be:

can't seem to make this work...pictures not showing. am i missing something?

xoops XOOPS 2.0.13. blocks are on...i can see the pics in the admin.

The use of '*' is not possible for me, because I use the module protector, Protector places a second '*', so this doesn't work.

But When using the other possibilities I also see no pictures? Not when I use uploaded pictures and also not when I use a link to a picture on my site.

this is a great module, I have found so many ways to use it, but now I am wondering how to put it in a custom block?

Yes, I know custom blocks don't seem to read smarties.

but is there an echo to call

< {$xoops_pictureurl} > ?

same as banner < {$xoops_banner} > can be called:
echo xoops_getbanner();

...this with the objective to have the end user position it where ever they want in the theme without have to open the theme.html, but rather the "user friendly" admin of blocks.
