Re: The Friend Finder Module ReleasedSeems like a great idea, but it looks like you have to sign up for whole new username/password, instead of just having an option to participate as part of your regular membership. This could be a great module! but it seems to lack integration.

greate work. I have downloaded the friendfinder and installed it on www.dancepartner.net and I have made so improvemnts. So I have created a lang file and the variables in the scripts. I also added the $xoopsDB prefix link. The user who is registerd at XOOPS will have the same username. Perhaps we can try to work together to solve the user/password problem.
I also want to implement another thing. I want that the user enters his birthday and not his age. So I can calc his age.

This is really a very good idea; and nice work indeed. And it's a module that I desperately need..I aim my site users to know each other, make new friends on my site and form communities.
And your mod is the perfect fit:)

Re: The Friend Finder Module ReleasedThank you, the next release is going to see Friend Finder use the XOOPS database for user information and a few new features, so hopefully RC3 won't be to taxing with its new format requirements and we will see Friend Finder RC1 in the near future.
