Re: HydraPHPYeah i know it may look complicated MED... but once configured right(and there's alot to configure) it just plain beats all the others i've tested. Just needs some getting used to. 
No fancy plugins or preconfigured crap, but custom syntax highlighting for ANY language, custom bracket matching for ANY tags, external help launcher on keywords(.hlp, .chm), classes browser, project manager, custom code snippets library, awesome find in files & search n replace capabilities..and much more.

Re: HydraPHPI'd have to agree with you at this point about HydraPHP, it is a bit light. I still like using Eversoft's 1st Page athttp://www.evrsoft.com.
I'll try those others you mentioned.
