I removed navbar-inverse and I really like the clean look it presents but if I do this the icon-bar does not show up on phones
Is there a way I can change the way the icon-bar looks?
What I would really like to do is change it to an image or text that says menu (easier for my computer challenged users)

Nice job!!

What do you mean by "icon-bar"? Is this the one with the Social Media icons?

Also, for testing of responsive themes on various devices, I recommed this site:

The icon-bar is on navmenu page; it is the three white lines seen on phone view for navigation

Try this trick for your embed videos, then go to the site Mamba said and test it:

I am trying to change the way the menu looks for responsive view by changing the icon-bar but I can not locate where I can change it not even sure if it is an image or code that makes it

<
span class="icon-bar">span>
<
span class="icon-bar">span>

and write "Menu" instead
