Day, I'm still searching if when clicking on an object (button) on one of my articles a PDF appears.
When closing the pdf it must take me back at the screen of the article.
Can someone help me with that "issue"

Generating live PDF files is not recommended, because it seems like the PDF solution that Publisher module included, doesn't generate images in that PDF document.

The easiest way is to as follow:

- you have the PDF files done before, and they are available on your Website

- on top of the article, you can add a link to that PDF file, but set it that way that when the visitor clicks, the PDF will open in a new Tab or new Window.

- when they close that window, they will be back on the original window, which never closed

1) You can put the files wherever you want - normally we would place them in the /uploads/files directory, or you can create a new one under /uploads, e.g. /uploads/pdf

2) You can place the link anywhere within in the article where you want. I just thought that somewhere on top would make it more visible.

1) Do you mean somewhere at Filezilla ?
2) Link must be covered by a figure (picture)

It will be a great step forward, the visitor would not have to scroll down and up to see all information.

Yes, whatever applications you're using.

You can do it too, but try first with just a regular link, to see if it works properly.

Of course, you can do it, but let's do one step at a time
First the link, and once it is working, then we'll add the image. I believe, we'll need to change the configuration of your Carica script, which normally is set to make uploaded images smaller, and when you click on the image, to open it in the original size in a new window. In this case, having an image as a link won't work for you, so we would need to change the configuration.
But again, before we go there, please create the PDF documents, upload them to the server, and create a link in the document for testing. Once this is working, we'll look into your Carica configuration, OK?
