Good day xoopers ;)
i've a problem with Just use it!
won't delete even i use site description
any solution ?

Go to you Admin's Preferences-> General Settings:

/modules/system/admin.php?fct=preferences&op=show&confcat_id=1

and change the slogan of the Website, or delete it (make it an empty field)

Have you deleted all of the cache files and refreshed your browser?

It is likely that when you clear your cache files out you will find it works as expected.

The directory of cache is empty only index.html inside.
NB: i don't use any module for this moment

I'm not sure you've cleaned the actual cache... the ./cache directory is no longer used by the system cache. The best way to make sure you've cleaned the cache that XOOPS uses is to go to Administration -> Maintenance then select all three (3) of the caches in the "Clean cache folder" and press the "Send" button to submit the form.

thanks master zyspec your reply was very useful, by the way i used xoops in 2006..2007 to delete cache u need only to remove content of cache directory
then when master redheadedrod asked me to that really did by the old way
but doesn't work howver ur method work perfectly thanks all
