Hi, sorry for my english...

I installed Xoop 2.5.5, and I test with FF and Safari on Mac. All works fine.
When I try with IE9 (I have a Windows 7 64 bits), I can't login.
I stay on the first page (the index page).

I try some things (add some "echo" in some scripts), and I found the problem is (perhaps...) in the script modules/system/preloads/core.php, in the method : eventCoreIncludeFunctionsRedirectheader.

Is someone had the same issue? And if yes, how resolv that?

Thank you for your help, and sorry for my gibberish (?)....

Andre.

What theme and what modules are you using?

I use some themes (default, solitude, reflection, zetagenesis and suico), and it's the same thing with each.

I have a personal module I developed for my job, "private messaging", system, "user profile" and protector.

Thank you for your time

Hi,

I put my site on OVH, and it works with IE9.......

I change my security parameters on IE for the intranet zone, to reflect the internet zone, and it don't resolve the problem...

Someone has an idea?

Does IE still have "compatibility mode"?
Try that and see if it makes a difference.
The more I know, the more I know that I really didn't wanna know.

You can try disabling the module you made and see if that makes a difference.

Also, is javascript enabled in your browser?

I haven't heard of issues with IE9 before so not sure what to tell you. Unless you have something installed or something set wrong not letting it access properly.

Hi,
I found the problem!!!!

It's a old bug of IE. It was discovered in IE4, but had been corrected.
Apparently, he returned in IE9.
In the name of my machine, there is a "_" character (Master_64). And it does not please IE9 .....

If I correct with the IP address instead of name, it works .

Thanks for your time

Andre.

Just a heads-up... and I know it's not a good practice anyway... but any modules or core features (i.e. captcha) that need users to go 'back' to a previous page but retain any form state will have problems with IE9 as that action is no longer supported.

Mentioned in this thread.
