I am the default theme .... Change me?

As the title implies, if you want the default theme for xoops 2.6 is improved or changed by all, we can compare ideas and with a little work, by all states concerned, we can do.

The staff will decide how best to do.

Theme as it is now looks good, but could use a makeover to modernise.

- Make it a fixed width theme
- More catchy menu and block headers
- Xoops promo banner translated to local languages

The Xoops banner is not a direct part of the default theme but is important for the first impression a newbie gets.

I think in 2.6 we need a modern theme not the look but the codes:
- based on div
- using html5 and css3
- using some features like wordpress themes : changing columns widths and their number from the admin area
the road of success is always under construction

I do not like the colors, it seems too old.
As stated by Mariane, a theme in html5, css3 and compatible mobile.
Nowadays, many consult by phone.
It is also desirable to provide transparent buttons, so that we can change the theme color, without problems of color difference.
