When in debug mode, I see depreciated functions listed, but
no source file where the function can be found.

Do I have to look through all php files for all modules I
have installed ? Everything seems to work despite the
depreciated functions, does this affect functionality of modules ?

Thanks...

Currently that would be the only way. You can use a tool like InfoRapid Search and Replace (Google for it) - it's free for personal use.

Or just list the modules that you have, and we can tell you which ones are already updated, and which ones will have to be done manually.

Not in XOOPS < 2.6.0, so you can keep using it "as is"

But it has to be fixed before XOOPS 2.6.0.

Module developers should be fixing their modules and make them compatible with XOOPS 2.6.0.

Thanks Mamba
Installed are:

Mastop Publish 2.1

DMS 1.91

Wordbook 1.17

XIM 1.02

Smallworld 1.15

classifieds 2.52 [Redesigned by John Mordo]

Job Listings 4.3
[by John Mordo Created from Myads jp 2.04]

SmartFaq 1.09

News 1.67RC
[I read where you spoke of this News/w FB integration]

TDMCreate 1.37

The errors are sound more serious than I'm accustomed to seing...

'/class/object.php' is deprecated since XOOPS 2.5.4, please use 'kernel/object.php' instead.

'Database::getInstance();' is deprecated since XOOPS 2.5.4, please use 'XoopsDatabaseFactory::getDatabaseConnection();' instead.

'/class/mimetypes.inc.php' is deprecated, use '/include/mimetypes.inc.php' directly.

MyTextSanitizer::makeTboxData4Show is deprecated

Any mention of Kernel and object in the context of depreciated makes me wonder :)

RE: InfoRapid Search and Replace, I'm running Linux
(Ubuntu) and don't yet have the hang of 'make'. Is it linux
compatible and are there shell commands for install ? Or alternatives ?

Thanks for your help
