When users login to my site they are directed to what appears to be some random URL in the site. For instance a thread in newbb. When I set the Module for start page in Preferences it does change the Home link on the menu. But when I log off I can see that the hidden xoops_redirect for the log on is pointing to the random URL.

Where would this be getting set?

This was happening before my upgrade to 2.5.4 and continues. It does not happen in my test site.

Sounds like an issue with your host maybe?

I have not heard of anyone complaining of this before. Almost sounds like the host is using the wrong start page for you and jumping in at random locations.

If you can load another copy of xoops on this server can you do that as a test and see what happens?

If you install a clean version and it does the same thing then you likely have a problem with your host.

You can also try deleting your cache files (NOT the folders too) and let the site rebuild them and see if that helps.
