So on my old site with xoops we had a ""Recent Posts" block that showed the recent posts for newbb.

I have looked in blocks over and over, ive updated to 4.0 and downgraded back to 3.08 and i just cant see it.

I cant find anything on the forums about it either, but i know its possible.

Anyone have any help on this?

Make sure that you have the right selections in the drop-down menus:

That's impossible, unless your installation is wrong.

Try to update the module, and if it doesn't work, uninstall it, and install it again.

If you setup all the drop-down menus to "All Types", the Forum blocks have to show up.

Unless there is something wrong with your XOOPS installation, I don't know what to tell you.

Run a filecheck to make sure that you have all correct XOOPS files. What version of XOOPS do you have? Did you install it fresh, or did you upgraded it from an older version?

Re: "recent Posts" Block? I cant get it.

first download the xoops 2.5.1a package (the full package)

extract the files:
checksum.md5
checksum.php

upload those two files to the same directory as your index.php of your xoops installation. then goto the checksum.php with your browser.

edit:
page 7 on the xoops 2.5 installation guide talks about this a little too
