Im currently doing a web xoops project for my office hq

the problem is they are blocking access to cpanel for public ip

which means i can only access my company cpanel when i'm in the office

right now there is the core file manager and also the ajax file manager by luciorota ..although it have some problems..its it sufficient for me to do some update to my site

right now i would like to see a database management module

and this would really help me to update my site at my home

i can see there is a phpmyadmin module in the repository

but its not working in xoops 2.5

can someone update this module to phpmyadmin latest version and compatible with xoops 2.5 ?

or is there any option available so i can access my database at my home

There are quite a few tools out there that you could use instead of having to go through cpanel. If you google search you'll find plenty of them to choose from. You might try something like http://www.sqlbuddy.com/. It looks like it would do what you need and is very easy to install.

*Note: I have not tried sqlbuddy, nor am I affiliated with it. It's just an example of existing resources you might try.

You can also try Adminer. It's only one file, and no installation is needed.
