Urgent guestbook help needed please

Hi all.

Xoops is my favorite for many years now, but i am looking for a much needed guestbook module that actually works in xoops 2.4.5

After trying all available mods i still have not found one that will work for me. Can anybody direct me to a mod that actually does work? t.i.a

Hi

Thanx for your reply, but i cant get xf-guestbook to work, or maybe i have the wrong version. I cant find any useable version in the depository. Can you point me to one?

(if I'm not wrong this version works with Xoops 2.4.x and has been corrected by winsion)

Still having problems installing this mod. It doesn't even show up in the mods list. And yes i have installed correctly

May be a trouble with the upload. Your site is online or in a local environment ? You should see into xoops_version.php file if

I've just installed this module in Xoops 2.5RC with wamp, installation works fine.

Thanks for the helping hand, but i still have no working guestbook. The site is online. I cant seem to get the mod (or any other guestbook) to work.

Very strange... Nothing with debug ? What are other modules installed ?

Xf guestbook works for sure with 2.4.5, many of my site use this, there is a file you must turn on to CHMOD 777, did you made that ?

Hi Burning and Yurdal

i have installed the mod now, just pasted the install lines directly in my addressbar. It just doesnot show up at first in the mods admin as shown in the screenshot.

The screenshot shows my admin after the direct install. Does it looks like this normally?

And for Yurdal, what files need te be chmod? there is no install notes in the package.
