2.4.5 - XP SP3, AMP install/page_modcheck.php - Server 500

Hi everyone, I have freshly reloaded my server and notice the install on this page has a critical server 500 error with php 5.2, apache 2.2 and latest release of Mysql 5.5.

I have tried adding in error_reporting(ALL); in but the error is happening in the first line.

The Error log has no php error in it, but it does read:

I am running:

* 32bit Dual Xeon Server

In the previous zombified server it was running on it fine, now with the reload it is not.

You will now need to at least add some extras on a fresh install you will have no zlib, you can get this from this optimizer software from here [ Zlib.dll ].

The install will have a change option, select this and in the customisation of the install select all extras to install. You will then need to update the php.ini not to be running all the extras:

I think there should be some better checking for extension that defaults a 'xoops_error' box instead of Server 500 error with no report.

The ones I am running are not preceeded by a ; in the ini file in your install path.

The other thing you have to do is roll back your MySQL Version the Server 500 error is occuring with oracles MySQL 5.5 and the database routines.

I found it installed fine with 5.1 of MySQL
