Hi there,

The situation is urgent. SmartSection 2.14.

I've lost all permisions in SmartSection, and there is may categories and more than 4500 articles.

How to enable permission to every article via phpmyadmin, to be more exact every category, subcategory and article should be enable to anonimous and registered users?

In admin panel, permission are OK, but anonimus can't see the subcategories and articles.

Tnx!

I saw it, but it doesn't ring a bell.

I can't find any of that in class/category.php

Because it is in /admin/category.php
(First post gives also info about permission names.)

Sorry, Ghia, but I can't find it in admin/category.php also. I have no "$category->assignVar('categoryid', $categoryid);" to comment out or anything from tutorial?!

If I'm not mistaken:

all you need is to edit each category(in smartsection admin panel), choose permissions, and check the box "Apply permissions to articles". It should perform an update to every article inside that category.

I know that, but it didn't work :)

Subcategories didn't show up, so I done it by hand :S It was a state of emergency. Lucky for me, it's a static site, so next time I'll do it with Publisher (this is the old one, no time to bother) :)

Tnx all!

No, I'm sorry!!!
I directed you to the wrong file.
It is indeed in /class/category.php starting at line 574
(It seems also not yet corrected in 2.15)
