Is there a manual or another form of instructions on how to set up the forum modules once it has been installed on my XOOPS website?

Thanks, need help!

No, I don't think so.
But it is straight forward:
- Set module permissions for groups.
- Set the preferences if needed.
- Create the categories.
- Create the fora in each categorie (and if needed subfora).
- Assign all the permissions as needed (access, view, submit, ...).
- Activate blocks as needed.
- Start posting.

At the start, there is already an example category, forum and post created. You can rename it for reuse or delete it.

Yes, I think ghia covered the basics. Don't get confused by all the options. Just change/modify/set what ghia said and you'll be fine
