Starting a New Xoops 2.4.4 site -- help with modules

Greetings,

I'm starting a new XOOPS site and need only two modules at the moment. One for forums, one for photo gallery.

What would you suggest.

for forum you can use CBB (newbb) 3.0.8
and for phto album you can use extgallery 1.08, you find it at http://www.zoullou.net
