hey all, I'm just having trouble with XForum v4.12 installed on XOOPS v2.3.3. It insists on remaining the ugly aqua blue color that is its default.

I saw that themes option in its preferences and tried to change it but it didnt do anything. Is there any way other then manually changing the CSS files to make it follow the configuration of my sites theme?

Probably changing CSS files is the appropriate way to change the looks.

Yes, I also commented this bug (?) recently. I think the best way to go (until this is properly fixed) is to comment out the handfull of lines in the module css that sets these colours. I can't remember exactly which line numbers, but I'll post them in this thread later today.

The file in question is xforum\templates\xforum.css. Lines 155-161 can be removed (to completely follow the sitewide theme) or changed to whatever you like.
