Where to change Page conent?

For example if I were to click "Submit" to submit a download to my site this text would be in the page

* All new Downloads's are subject to validation and may take up to 24 hours before they appear in our listing.
* We reserve the rights to refuse any submitted download or change the content without approval.

what if i wanted to change any of those text to something i wanted? i tried looking at the submit.php but it doesnt show any of those texts

Take a look to www/modules/your-module/language/english/ files

I have the PD-downloads modules and when someone goes to submit a file the following fields come up:
Download Title:*

Download URL:*

Category:*

Home Page Title:*
etc.

I would like to get rid of some of this but when I delete the field from www/modules/my-module/language/english/ files
instead of deleting the DOwnload URL field instead it shows the field like this:

_MD_PDD_DLURL*

The language files are only intended to rephrase the texts. Do not delete definitions!

Some fields are simply needed and can not be left out, without impairing the modules' function.
At the input side changing these things requires also changing the PHP program.
At the displaying side, you can change the layout and showed fields by editing the templates.
