hello
I would like to implement soon a site that there will be news and cbb modules. I only wish that these modules are translated into three languages: French, English and Spanish

For example, when we leave the Spanish flag on the forum will be translated into Spanish, and so on for the three different languages

Is this possible?

I know TinyMCE has a multilanguage plugin for content, which might be something worth exploring for content (haven't tried it myself though).

I guess templates and similar things are not an issue due to the regular language features of XOOPS?

You may try xLanguage. I used it to create a site with 2 languages for XOOPS 2.3.3. I think there is also an updated version works for 2.4.x.
