I'm using XOOPS 2.4.3

In my Preferences>>General Settings>>Slogan for your site I have a slogan.

But, I'm using Article for my content on my home page and instead of showing my slogan in the <TITLE> tag and my site name, it's showing "Article" and the name of my website.

How can I fix this to show the proper slogan in the <TITLE> tag and not "Article"?

Are you using Article as the default module?
About which title and/or tag are you talking?
Where does it shows?

Yes, it's the default module.

It shows in the top title bar on the browser

Search for xoops_pagetitle in the article module files and adapt the assignments.

If I only want the XOOPS default page title to appear, what do I change it to?

Maybe commenting them out may do the trick.

(Why do you want one title for all the pages of your site, while everybody else wants for SEO reasons a different title for each single webpage?)

Because it doesn't show a page title. It only shows the name of the module.
