smartclient not registering clients in xoops 2.4

Hello,

I just upgraded to XOOPS 2.4 and every time I try to enter a client, either through the back or the front end, it says there's an error.

Has anyone got any idea why this could be and what i could do to fix it?

Turn on debug mode and see what is the error appear at the bottom of client adding page.

Hi,


This is what I get:

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file /modules/smartclient/include/functions.php line 325

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
