Problems-error pages in the lexikon - lexique module

I've installed the Lexicon (lexique) module according to the instructions, and all went fine, no error messages, but when i click on any of the links from the admin menu of this module i get only an error page (except when i open the Preferecnes). I've previously installed the jjd_tools as instructed

This is the error page i get:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What have i done wrong?

Anybody an idea what could be the fix?
I really need this module. Or at least can you suggest me a similar module what could i use instead,

Any messages with debug on?
Are your files up(/down)loaded complete?

Thanks for the reply.
I've uninstalled, downloaded and uploaded again the lexique folder to the modules. Installed it again, no error messages. But i get the same error message when i try to open any section from the administration part of this module. The debug is on, but i don't get any messages, since i get instantly the 404 Not Found error page.

Do you have a language directory for your language in the module? If not copy eg. the english directory (translation is not required).

Yes, it's there (my language is english). It's strange, when i click on
http://www.mysite.com/modules/lexique/admin/index.php
i get the "500 Internal Server Error and additionally 404 Not Found" error page.

It's like the file modules/lexique/admin/index.php would be missing. But it's there, i've checked and double checked. Must be a setting error? But where?

The same error i get also when i click on
http://www.mysite.com/modules/lexique/
exactly like when the module and files would be missing.. but it's all there.

Why is there a difference in the URL path for user and admin site?

Don't mix the causes for the two errors! The second is a direct result of the first and has nothing to do with Lexique, but with an incomplete configuration for Apache.

A 500 error is flagged when an exceptional condition terminated the execution of the script.
It could be a directory or file errors or a severe PHP error. Read carefully all installation and other notes for Lexique (version? 2.14? jjdtools?). What version for PHP and MySQL do you have? Could you update both modules in module manager?

Sorry, that was my misstake with the url. But that was just to give an example. Actually i have the XOOPS installed in a subdomain.

With the modules you don't really have how to mess up with the install, i've just uploaded the folder to the module folder on the server and installed as usual. First the jjd_tools, then the lexique.

And this is all what the installation notes say, you have to upload the folder, install as usual, and.. done.

I have php 5.2.9 and MySQL 4.1.22-standard
and the lexique 2.14 and jjdtools 2.25

I have made an update now to both modules in module manager.

I'm not sure though about this part: the "Imgades set" in the Preferences of the lexique module (in admin side). What do i have to enter there? I dont really understand the french explanation. I wrote this way: "modules/jjd_tools/images/gif/56.gif"

I think it is ment to be image set. Then it should expect a directory name. Is there not some repeating set of images in some subdirectories of /images?

I can see no such thing. The example given in the doc is something like this:
modules/jjd_tools/images/*/?.gif
modules/jjd_tools/images/*/?.jpg
modules/jjd_tools/images/*/?.png
and i replaced this by modules/jjd_tools/images/gif/xx.gif (wheare xx.gif is a picture/icon from the */gif/ directory)

Anyway, i don't think that this has anything to do with my problem :(
