Sorry for the cross-post, but nobody seems to want to answer, what I think is a fairly easy question:

I was attempting to install a TW Chinese language pack to my XOOPS installation.

I installed the language files and then switched from English to TW Chinese to see if I could then input BIG5 Chinese characters in an attempt to make my site bilingual.

Unfortunately, I can no longer get into the ADMIN page.

It just says: 'This is your first time entering the administration section, press the button below to continue'

When I press 'submit' I just get a blank page.

Is there any way to undo the damage?

Help!

Don't cross post!
The other thread is deleted.
Edit your config table with phpMyAdmin and set the option again to english.

Thanks for the starting point.

Can you give me a little more advise on how to proceed.

How do I activate Phpmyadmin?

I cannot get into the Admin section of XOOPS at all using the normal method.

Is there some other way to edit the config table?

Thanks in advance.

You can access phpMyAdmin from your Host's Admin menu, at least it's the way on most hosts. You can contact your host to find out how to do it.
Support XOOPS => DONATE
Use 2.5.10 | Docs | Modules | Bugs

Thanks.

My host uses Cpanel so I am able to use PHPmyadmin go access the files.

How would I go about finding the necessary file, and then editing it back to English.

I'm assuming that by changing from English to Chinese I somehow damaged something and it has somehow altered something and made the Admin Section inaccessible.

Thanks in advance for any help.
