Im trying to find out how to customize content based on the users location.

does anyone know how, or what its called (so i can look it up) to edit the blocks content based on where the user is?

I see many signitures and stuff telling me im in brisbane and my ip address, what is this trick called, so i can adapt it to show relevent content etc.
