fully featured, but seeing as how it's for a rural community, why not try a more... rural theme? something like Clouds, flowgree, pixelgreen or green_grass.
or comunity oriented like community_live

nice and clean.. Like the social bookmarks module. Keep up the good work... You should ad xdonation module..
