Hello!

I'm trying to send a newsletter with even news 2.1 in a XOOPS 2.3.1.

The problem is:

Only send one email to the first user in the suscription list! I try to activate/deactivate users (don't understand this), and delete and create again users, but only send the newsletter to the first user.

Any idea, please?

Ah! And another think:

When send a newsletter, in the confirmation message, I can see message sended to: bla, bla, bla, bla, ... (all the suscriptors), but in the message archive, all the messages have the mail sended and the mail failed to 0

Help please!

Some hosters limit the number of destination addresses in one single email (to eg 100). If there are more destinations the sending will fail.
If all the email addresses are encoded in the to address, then other users can know each others email address, which may be a violation of the privacy rules.

Any erors in debug?

I come back to this problem. I continue on it.

In the debug messages, I have 3 error:

Warning: MyTextSanitizer::oopsStripSlashesGPC is deprecated in file /class/module.textsanitizer.php line 687

Notice: Function getMailer() is deprecated, use xoops_getMailer instead in file /include/functions.legacy.php line 80

These are no errors and may be ignored.
They are the famous warning messages for module developers, that they are using functions, that the core developers have marked as deprecated.

Is your XOOPS sending emails correctly when new users register of from admin mail to users. If there are email settings in even news, are they the same as in admin - preferences - mail?

Solved!!!!!!!

The problem was the email adress in general preferences was not a real email.

Changing it all suscriptors had recived the mail!
