Hi xoopsers,
In the past 2 weeks I have been working on a module called my projects. My idea is to build something close to "Google Code".

You can take a look here
http://www.xuups.com/modules/myprojects

If you want to share ideas and/or help me debug it I would appreciate!

Thanks.

Looks really nice.
Any thoughts putting a task-manager in the module.

I like the idea with the "project home" for description of the project.
The "download" I would call "Document libary" ore something like that.
The Forum i really nice - Is there a seperate forum for eatch "project"?

I miss;
A task-manager - for every projet
A list of members comitted to the project
A total list of members and whitch project they are dealing with and there task's (so no-one can hide)

And remeber the oppertunity for returning projects/tasks

Take a look at wsProject and timesheetxoops

They have some of the functions.

Also have a look at xProject from McNaz. And there is the very old module used in dev.xoops.org. Not shure about the name, xforge maybe...

For each project you can create several categories and subcategories.

You can use them to paste your downloads and/or to create one or more forums under it.
Each project has is own forums.

I´m looking at smarttask, I´l try to use it.

The list of members are displayed in the project front page.
Also, there is another module section for profiles, it is not correctly linked in the module but you can reach them clickin at 'profile' after you login. Ex:

http://www.xuups.com/modules/myprojects/profile.php?profileid=2

In there it will show your info, your own projects, your member projects, your favorite projects, and the admin section for adding/delete/edit projects, etc

Adding members and owners to projects is not yet implemented.

What does that mean 'returning projects'?

Projects will be able to use adsense and analytics, but not yet implemented.

xProject is to complicated for me(I don´t even know how to set it), xforge is full featured but has very old code.

I would prefer to build everything from scratch or use more recent modules to work with as I did with newbbex(well, I had to make classes and redo a lot of code there) or with wf-downloads(great module).

I think he meant reoccurring tasks. Tasks that has to be done every week, month, ... and then repeated a fix number of times, or upto a certain date or indefinitly. Sheduling should be possible to a day of the month eg on 10th, fix day of some week in the month (second tuesday), etc
