Site started by someone else, well done, but having problems viewing/editing the files in Dreamweave

To Whom It May Concern:
I really love the new technology and look forward to learning more. My new assignment in my organization is coordinating the needs of our new website.
We had a former employee who used XOOPS to develop our new test site; however, she left before it was launched. She had gotten a lot of the work done. I have access to the folder files (using Dreamweaver) as she created a new host site at: http://test.csgwest.org/
We currently use Dreamweaver to modify our current website: http://www.csgwest.org.
I do believe she meant all the requirements to use XOOPS in the summer of 2007 and loaded all the files on the web server. But I can’t view or edit the pages in Dreamweaver on my computer. Is there some type of software I need to use or load on my computer to access and modify the new test site (php? Opensource? Etc.?) Sorry, I feel I’m just missing something…….
Thank you for your time and any help you can provide.
Sincerely,
Lolita

xoops allows you to make most of the changes to your site through it's admin or 'back-end' area.

First thing you need to obtain is the username and password for the XOOPS administrator (sorry if you already have this, your post is a little unclear).

Once you are logged in as admin, you can add content, set preferences and make changes to templates etc.
