Hi!
I just upgraded to XOOPS 2.3.1.
I noticed the registration doesn't work anymore. I have turned on registration in Preferences > User info settings. However I still get the following message when I try to create a new account: Registration is not allowed at this moment, please come back later.
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

Anyone know?

I think you have to give permission to the profile module for anonymous in the admin of user group permissions.

I added block admin right: members (for Anonymous Users)
But still same problem. It's not open.

I even tried to turn it off and on again. Same problem. Any more ideas?

What about profile module access?

sorry, the right I added was of course Module Access rights
[X] Members

I also have [X] Extended Profiles

hmm maybe somehow my Extended Profile got messed up? When I try to click on a user now I get "you don't have access to this area" even though I am logged in as webmaster and webmaster have access to everything.
I also noticed that the "Display name" field was deleted from everyone... hmm how do I fix this? =)

hmmm I updated the profile module in my modules and now it seeems to work ^^ thanks for your guided questions =)
