good morning(afternoon or night dunno what time it is there)

i want my logo.gif deleted. i've deleted it in the root directory but now i see a little block with a red cross in it. means can't find an image. but i want the image totally deleted . how can i do that?

You have to remove the html tag (pointing at the former location of your gif) also.
This can be in one of your theme files or in admin - preferences - system - meta tags and footer, in field footer.

You need to go to your "theme.html" file in your theme and delete the placeholder for an image there. If you use something like "FrontPage" or "Dreamweaver" it will show it to you in the preview mode.

okay it worked but now my banner is also gone how do i add my banner to the site again?

Undo your changes and try again.

I sugest you go to uploads folder and copy blank.gif to the place where logo.gif was. Then rename it to logo.gif. This would have solved your problem without big deal.

Also because logo.gif is used in other places such as print, etc... So it is better to be there even if blank.
