All,

I have just logged in to my XOOPS site as admin, but when I try to access the admin.php, I got the "you don't have the right to access this area".

I have access to the database and the file folder as well. So what should I do to get the admin access?

Do you still stay in logged status when you get that message?

Perhaps you need check/repair xoops_session table

Right on !! Thanks a lot. I got the following table when I check the session table:

#1194 - Table 'xoops_session' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Any idea of how to repair it? Thx.

Great. It worked. For those of you who don't know how to repair a table here is the instruction:

- go to phpMyAdmin
- select your database if you have more than one
- Select Structure tab
- check the table that you want to repair
- at the bottom drop down menu, select repair.

That's it
