A simple design running Xoops engine.

Xoops is certainly the best CMS available for simplicity in design.

We created this simple design with XOOPS operating within an IFrame on the right. Client wanted to have an animation rotating a list of images but not restart on each nav click.

Thanks to the BOOX module, all content (including the animation) can be managed from the admin panel.

Since they didn't want member registrations, we placed a little blue dot at the top for admin login.

There are a few bugs to workout though, like the bouncing menu and positioning in Firefox.

Indeed, really clean, clear and extraordinary, but not simple enough...

Google will index each framed page separately if it can find them. Should make it to index.php and perhaps crawl the other sections. Link building to the site will be difficult (to internal pages) I suggest a site map on you main page. Frames are really not a good idea but the site looks good!

Hi masshostnet
If you want to know how ppls will get to the site from google: take a look here: http://www.hobstyles.com/modules/about/
probably "not the poet meaning"

so if you use an Iframe, use a java-script to force the iframe from within theme main file
OR (much recommended !!!)
use ajax for loading the animation without reloading it ... (ajax can do it, though I don't have a script ready for you .... (try to look for a mootools class for it, you might find one in their forums: http://forum.mootools.net/ )
