Hi,

I'm using CBB 3.08 and XOOPS 2.0.17.

I try to understand what is a digested topic :

- once topic is disgested, Its possible to send them by E-mail to members wanted to be informed about digested topics (daily or weekly)
- I tried to send digested topic but I have timer saying that topics will be send in 14xx min. I wait during 14xx and I have a new message saying topics send ! But nothing happened !

Did someone has an idea about that ?
How digested topics are working ?

^^ I have never know what digested topics were.

With the mailer ability I always assumed that it was a news type thing.

However it may very well only email the topic starter letting him know that his topic has been digested(removed due to age)

again, always just guessed.

I will just join in on this wtf is digest thing.

I have wondered about this as well. Would it have anything to do with the Digest module listed on this page at xoopsforge? You will see it in the modules list

digest: remote HTML content fetching and display
digest 2.01

I don't think that there is any relation between disgested topic and the disgest module. Anyway, I will try it to see if there is any incidence.

According the information I have already collected when digest is activated daily, members, who want to be notified, received an e-mail with links of all the digested topics by the webmaster included the first conversation of each digested topics.

But uptoday, I never managed to put it in place

You are right the digest module seems to have little relevance. I did find this thread on xoopsforge, but this is all I can find about it.

CBB digest question

Doesn't seem to give a solution that I can see ;o)

You are right this thread do not give any information about digest topics.

Uptoday, I really wonder if someone know how the "digest mode" is working.

I saw a lot of thread regarding "digested topics" but its seems to be indigestible matter !
