i moved my XOOPS installation into a new folder and can only get the news page whic was the front page to show all the other paths to modules and links do not work. do i have to manually change the links?
here is what i mean i amde a new folder oldxoops and move the my site into it so
www.mysite.com/oldxoops shows only the news frontpage without a theme or links to modules are not found
my site was previously www.mysite.com/modules/news and it worked properly

You need to edit your mainfile.php to alter the xoops_url and xoops_root_path to the new settings.

Just edit your mainfile.php page in the XOOPS root to reflect the directory change. You will need to change the XOOPS ROOT PATH & the URL path.
