I have XOOPS 2.0 and my album 2.8.4 cant find link to new module, I cannot upload any images I get an error stating that the file is to big or there is problem with the configuration, I am trying to upload a .png and a .jpg image well under the file size limit and pixel ratio limit, the file extensions are valid in the settings, is it because it is an outdated version? any assistance will be appreciated, no errors from the debug mode either

DOn't forget, as the install reads..

- If you didnot set, chmod 777 your XOOPS uploads directory.

How did you upload myalbum? If through the server cpanel, you did, you can change permission there. If you did via ftp, you can change permission that way too.

I use ftp program FileZilla. You need to navigate to your root XOOPS folder, look for the upload directory and for FileZilla, I would right-click and go to file attributes and there you can change permissions for that folder. I'm not very smart on all the different ftp programs.

Ok, i had to install it myself. I have no problem uploading a small jpeg but the larger ones give trouble. I don't have any time to play tonight, maybe somebody can jump in. Small pictures work fine, larger ones don't. I tried many changes in the myalbum preferences and so far nothing works.
