this is pending my most recent installation of newbb
i wont know if the advice on this thread will work out my other issues

but here we go

this is what i see in my newbb administration page

Xoops Poll Module: Not available
ImageMagicK: Not available
NetPBM: Not available
GD1 library: Not available

xoops poll module is not installed, it's a seperate module..

imagemagik, netpbm & GD are image libraries installed with php on the server itself. ask your server host regarding those, but they are not usually installed by default.. GD1 is out of date, and most php installations use GD2 as default.

which version of newbb are you using aswell?

because the latest CBB (newbb) should try to detect GD1 & GD2.. if GD2 is autodetected, then you're good to go and you don't need imagemagik or netpbp or GD1
