I have installed a couple of modules, one being the eXTGallery module. This allows me to dump files into a batch folder and then the admin screen will import the images.

the folders it created on install are owned by a different user (99) and it is unable to import the images into the working directories.

Is there a way to determine the user that a module uses during installation?

It is quite a pain as I can now not batch import images using the tool.

Hi,

Directory created on module install are owned by Web server user. The problem may come from that when you use FTP client to upload photos on modules/extgallery/batch/, photos have been uploaded with another user and Webserver's user can't handle them (wrong right).

Turn your site on PHP debug and give me error message.
