This is probably a easy question so I will help you understand what I am looking for..

Is there a way to change http://www.myxoopssite.com/backend.php to backend.xml? I'm not really sure how this RSS works but I'm not sure on anything

Would it be as easy as making a backend.xml with the same contents of backend.php?

Not sure how it pulls my info though..

something like rss2html won't read the backend.php but will .xml files.. Thanks for any feedback.

Are you on a linux apache server, this can be easily done with mod_rewrite?

pretty much I am a noob and I know this is a noob question but I would like everything that I post that does show up in backend.php also show up in a rss.xml file i know it's weird but Something I would like to do is pretty much get the .xml to update every time my backend.php does

if this is confusing im sorry but would like any suggestions on this thanks.

backend.php generates already a format xml :

 ... 
header ('Content-Type:[b]text/xml[/b]; charset=utf-8');

Yea I know it does.. I am trying to take something like a cut and paste rss script generator and it wont accept the .php i need it in .xml format is there any way around this?
