Packaging Xoops Install with pre-installed modules?

I am currently working on developing a XOOPS module. Is there any way to offer a full XOOPS download with a module already preinstalled?

Meaning you don't have to go into the admin area and activate the module. After the installation the module will simply be already activated.

Sorry for the double post. Not sure how that happened and for some reason I can't delete my own posts.

So please use this as the main thread.

I did observe this behavior when installing 2.2.5 in my test environment

Can I create a XOOPS Package with a couple modules pre-installed? Based on 2.0.16? Any idea?

Modules I want to pre-install: News, Contact and some static pages module.

The answer is YES. This is how XOOPS was downloaded in previous versions.
