I have downloaded XOOPS to IIS.
I have renamed the 'htdocs' folder (it was not named html, as the XOOPS user guide states) to 'Xoops' and moved it to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot

To get the wizzard running the XOOPS user guide says type "http://localhost/xoops" Do I type this exactly?

If I do try this, I get:

"Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed."

What should I do?

There is Xooops IIS documentation linked from below but the links dont work:

https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=298&com_id=35460&com_rootid=29876&com_mode=flat&com_order=0#comment35460

Please help!

Hi Paul,

Few questions for you, sorry if they seem simple but I have to be sure what I'm dealing with;

1. Have installed PHP, and if so what version?

2. If PHP is installed have you verified that it is working using the phpinfo() function?

3. What version of IIS are you using (5, 5.1, 6 or 7)?

4. Have you set a default document for your XOOPS website (this is what will be causing your "Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed." error)?

5. Do you have MySQL installed, and if so what version?
