Members accounts automaticly being set to in-active ???

Has any one had a simmilar issue. Some of my accounts are automaticly being set to " inactive" and the members are not doing it.

its impossible, are you sure anyone have not access to the admin area or "profile module" of your XOOPS site?

You might have your site preferences set to require members to 'activate' their accounts? It is quite common for people to register and not realize (even though they are told) that they need to click on the activation link in the email before they can actually use their accounts.

There's about 3,000 members on my site, and about 30% (1,000) never managed to actually activate their account.
