Moving Xoops Site to new Host

Has anyone had any experience in moving a XOOPS site to another host provider? I need help in locating the information needed to do so. I would like to be able to maintain the information in the forums, as well as all the gallery pics and such. If anyone could help out with this, or point me to some documentation, that would be GREAT!!! Thanks in advance for your help!

We have an excellent FAQ section that covers this question among others: How do I move my site from one server to anoother?.

Remember: make a complete backup of your website files and database before you start, just to be sure!
