What a dream it could be - the XOOPS News module with formatting options which could enable you to make a REAL news site, with a lot of pictures in every article, with thumbnails on the teaser text, positioned either left or right, with text floating, with possibility to add byline under images, with nice CSS formatting options, with possibility to add multimedia as well as dynamic topics to each article, boxes with reusable facts information... enabling the webmaster to produce and maintain a real news site, a web magazie, an ezine... you name it. I am dreaming, and perhaps waiting for this to happen. Then I really would donate. Oh yes. So I keep on waiting and dreaming...hoping for the birth of a real news module!

A good place for suggestions would be xoops.instant-zero.com - although I think the news module with 1.53 is very good indeed.

(Although I would like to see "tag" support added... and perhaps multiple picture upload?)
