Hey folks,

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.16

I've been trying to install the 'Weblinks' module to my XOOPS page. I first tried to install Weblinks 0.93 and it installed fine except for the following error.

* Every time I created a link, the link itself would appear just fine but if I clicked on it, it would automatically re-route me to some folder within the module itself (i.e. http://www.mywebsitename/xoops/module/weblinks ....etc...
I simply couldn't get it to actually GO to the external link.

Ok, so, then I tried installed a later version of Weblinks. I tried installing 0.97

Now, when I first installed the module, it would give me this error:

* I can create the link fine but now, the link will not transport me anywhere. It simply is static. No matter what I do, I cannot get the "LINK" to be click-able.

I'm hoping for any and all advice in this regard.

Whats the deal with this module.

Am I neglecting some important settings or perhaps I am not operating the module correctly.

Help would be swell.

Ok, I know its Christmas and all but can anybody give me any idea as to what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure it must be a setting or something.

You may want to try the latest version, 1.22
